Lianne Kobes is a student at The University of Winnipeg, and is in her last year of completing an Honours Anthropology major. She has attended the annual MAS conferences since 2009, and was especially fascinated by the 2010 tour of the Whitewater PoW camp. The following summer, she participated in an archaeology field school at the site of Iklaina, in Pylos, Greece. In her final semester, she will be exploring her interest of physical anthroplogy through an independant study project focusing on tattooage and mortuary archaeology.
