Hokanson site
A bison pound site located in the Tiger Hills of south-central Manitoba. This 1,000 year old site consists of virtually intact bison entrapment zone located along the margins of a slough in a valley between ridges of rolling ground moraine. This site is named after M. Hokanson an avocational archaeologist in the region.
